Memorial Day 2017 – T.A.P.S

Evy’s Tree has always had a passion for helping others, and it has been our honor to help many military families or causes over the years. For this Memorial Day, we are deeply privileged to draw your attention to a cause that not only directly helps military families, but it also brings respect and awareness for the sacrifice made by Americas fallen heroes.
Most Americans will never know the pain of getting that dreaded message about their loved one dying in service, and they will never know the wrenching breathlessness that comes when a bugler plays “Taps” over a flag draped coffin. We see the faces on the news, and the pictures of the mourning family receiving the remains of their deceased family member as it is unloaded from a plane. We pause and perhaps pray for the family, and we often wish that there was something more we could do. Friends, there IS more you can do, and Evy’s Tree invites you to join us in helping those families this weekend!
TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) is a non-government, sponsored, Veterans Service non-profit that has assisted more than 70,000 families of fallen Armed Forces heroes since its inception in 1994. They provide a variety of programs to survivors such as seminars, 24/7 peer support, retreats, publications, counseling, and more. Every Memorial Day since 1994 they hold a National Military Survivor Seminar and Good Grief Camp in Washington, D.C.
With Memorial Day falling on 5/29 this year, we would like to give 5.29% from every single sale during the entire Memorial Day weekend to TAPS.
We hope you join us in helping this amazing cause, and urge you to visit their website to learn more about the incredible work that they’re doing –
And to all of those among us serving selflessly in uniform, and for their loved ones serving bravely at home, from the bottom of our hearts we thank you.
