Introducing the Kay Poncho – Presentación de la Kay Poncho

We are thrilled to bring you a gorgeous new piece; we’ve all been anxiously looking forward to launching this and we hope you love it too! Evy’s Tree is pleased to present the Kay Poncho! Árbol de Evy se complace en presentar el poncho Kay!

“The Poncho. Having been worn by their people for hundreds of years, the poncho is closely linked to Mexican culture and considered an iconic Mexican symbol.” –

Made of 100%, soft, lightly crinkled rayon, this poncho is lightweight, soft, and opaque, with flowly movement and graceful femininity. We included a hood for extra sun or breeze protection. Inspired by South American culture and style, trust us when we say this Puebla-inspired garment is an absolutely gorgeous piece.

While designing the intricate embroidery, Amy spent time carefully selecting each vibrant color, focusing on beauty, fun, and with a respectful nod to Hispanic culture. The embroidery is featured on the full front, and lines the edges/bottom of the piece in the back. The edge is lined with fun fabric pom-poms that move with the piece…

As a one-size-fits-all design, this is intended to be flattering for any body size or shape. Ladies, celebrate your unique body and beauty! Feel free to do a little dance or spin if this inspires you to do so!

Versatility of a great poncho:

  • Toss it on in chilly A/C buildings or on cool summer evenings
  • Use it as a great breastfeeding cover
  • Dress it down with jeans/leggings/shorts
  • Dress it up with sexy heels and skinny jeans
  • Cover up at the pool or beach

“Ironically, even though in history only males were permitted to wear the more lavish designs of ponchos, it seems that modern women are now taking their revenge by wearing colorful, bright and extraordinarily intricately patterned ponchos…” –
