Hello Blackberry Sophie! Introducing Honey by Evy’s Tree…

Oh how we love Sophie! This empire waist, the amazingly comfortable fit and feel of Sophie…this is our NUMBER ONE most popular hoodie and always a near-instant sell out.

To recap, here is a brief history of the Sophie…be sure and check out the evolution of the Sophie, as well as the gorgeous past colors!

Why do people love the Sophie so much? Sophie is comfortable and allows room to ‘breath’ if you want a fuller, comfortable yet gorgeous top. Some ladies prefer to have a more fitted ‘baby doll’ style and this is easily achieved by sizing down. Wear it with shorts, leggings, jeans…zipped up or left open and layered over a top or dress. The Sophie is simply comfortable, pretty, and easy to fit into your wardrobe in a variety of ways…making the Sophie a must have!

And now, we are bringing you the newest Fall/Winter 2016 Sophie in in Blackberry! A deep, jewel-toned purple, the Blackberry Sophie features an embroidered, dyed to match, scroll pattern lace inside the hood…which adds subtle depth and texture. We added ribbon drawstrings down the front of the hoodie and its a slightly heavier weight than the Spring/Summer Sophies. In addition, the interior is fleece-brushed to carry you through the cooler Fall/Winter months ahead. And of course, the two deep front pockets are a must!

AND…we are totally thrilled to FINALLY bring you junior hoodies once more! Debuting this week with the release of the Blackberry Sophie, please meet the Blackberry Sophie for little girls, brought to you by Honey by Evy’s Tree!

Introducing a new GIRLS Sophie in Blackberry that will be perfect for your mini-me! The Sophie in Blackberry features a darling empire waist, ribbon drawstring and zipper pull with the same fun, embroidered, dyed-to-match lace hood lining. This Sophie is the exact fabric and weight with the fleece-brushed interior for warmth. We know your little girls will LOVE this and won’t want to take it off…just like how we adults feel about our own Sophies!

Designed to perfectly match her Mommy, Auntie, Grandma, or older sister, the Blackberry Sophie is exactly the same material and design for both the adult and the kids version.

Color Comparison of the Blackberry Sophie left to right: Sophie, Lisa in Grape, Plum Brilla, Lilac Ava Racer

The Sophie (Adult) is true to size; as usual, it’s a personal preference if you’d like to size up or down. The Sophie is designed to be full and loose for ultra comfort. Going down might be an option for smaller busted or more petite ladies wanting a slimmer silhouette. Many customers prefer sizing down in the Sophie for these reasons. Sizing up might be an option for fuller-busted ladies or for ladies with a longer torso wishing to have a little extra length. The Sophie also is an excellent maternity, hospital stay, and post-partum piece; stay in your regular size if this is your plan for Sophie.

The Sophie (kids) is also true to size and designed to be full and loose. For a more snug fit, order the normal size for your child. For a slightly looser fit or to allow room for growing, go up a size.

  1. I see comments that the material is “the same” and on the listing it says “slightly heavier.” Same as or heavier than what? Is this exactly the same material as last year’s green Sophie? Thanks!

  2. Oh– I see now it also says slightly heavier as spring/ summer (silver)…but can you confirm if it is the same as the fall weight from last year? Thanks again!
